Coming up this Wednesday, April 23rd, at 6:30 PM is the last “Jumpin’ With The Jags” community event for this year! As quoted from our press release:

The Jumpin’ and Jivin’ with the Jaguars Jazz Night is a free event for local senior citizens as a community service and a way of uniting jazz lovers of all ages. This event is planned and hosted by Century High School students, working towards the completion of their senior projects, graduation requirements, community service goals and just the for the joy of entertainment.

Join us in the Century Commons for a wonderful night of dancing, jazz, and refreshments!

This Monday night is the Century Drumline and Winterguard’s FREE Parent, Friend, and Neighbor performance. Bring your family and be amazed by the work that our winter performance ensembles have put in for their shows this year! The show will start promptly at 7:00 PM and will contain plenty of drum-banging and flag-flinging excitement. Hope to see you there!

Coming up next week is an excellent opportunity to support the Century High School Music Program. On April 4th at 7:00 PM is the annual Century Band Auction, with lots of auction items and baskets accompanied with desserts and live music. Family members and supporters from the community are encouraged to come and have a great time!

In website news, the audio from the Clackamas Comm. College Symphonic Band competition has been uploaded to the Audio page and the Media Player has also been updated with a new set of songs. Enjoy!

This Saturday is the Super Bowl Can Drive! Neighbors and friends, please call up your local band member and let them know you have cans to pick up. Band members–start your fundraising engines and be prepared for massive amounts of cans! The can drive runs from 9:00 to 1:00, and everyone is encouraged to come help out the community and raise some money for the band too.

Finally! After many months of patient waiting, we finally have the broadcast finals video of our 2007 fall show, Cubanismo, up on the video page. Keep up the festive spirit and root on our Winter Drumline and Winterguard in their respective competitions!
